Hall of Famer Jerry Rice has set the bar high for Amari Cooper.
"They have their new Tim Brown," Rice told the Oakland Raiders' web site. "I think with Cooper, he's very much like Tim Brown. Very explosive, got speed to burn."
Brown's speed was legendary as a wide receiver. He played in a total of 17 NFL seasons and finished sixth on the NFL's all-time receiving yards list.
Cooper isn't the only one facing the pressure this year. Rookie expectations are higher than ever in the league, which can contribute to players earning the "bust" label when they can't reach the standards set for them.
