Houston Cougars right tackle Reuben Unije displayed the ultimate commitment in the team's 38-7 win over Sam Houston this past weekend as he vomited on his way to the line and made a block immediately after.

After the voluminous vomit left his body, Unije looked up (perhaps relieved) and made a block as quarterback Donovan Smith dropped back to pass.
Credit to the edge rusher for Sam Houston either way, though—imagine needing to line up and avoid planting your hand in the puke-ridden turf.
After the game, Unije took to X, saying he would post a reaction video.

Unije comes to Houston after playing high school football for IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He committed to the program on February 5, 2020. He was the 21st-ranked offensive tackle in his class, per On3.
As mentioned, the Cougars, puke and all, won the game decisively, 38-7.
Quarterback Donovan Smith completed 31 40 passes for 294 yards and one passing touchdown. The lone touchdown they allowed came in the first quarter on a run from Sam Houston's Trapper Pannell. He had one carry for two yards.
Houston heads on the road to take on Texas Tech on Saturday, September 30, at 3:30 PM ET.
Let's hope Unije is healthy in that one.
