Former NFL wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. is never afraid to tell it how it is, and that's exactly what happened following an interaction between him and Denver Broncos wideout Jerry Jeudy prior to Thursday Night Football.

During NFL Network's pregame broadcast ahead of the TNF bout between the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs, Smith was given the floor to talk about an incident between himself and Jeudy on the field during pregame warmups. Smith admitted that he had recently been a bit unfair when criticizing Jeudy and was hoping to apologize, but was met with aggressive comments from the Broncos wideout.
So, instead of apologizing, Smith used the national platform to go scorched earth on Jeudy. You can watch Smith's entire monologue about the Broncos wideout thanks to NFL GameDay on X.

"I hope today that you actually show up in a way that you haven't showed up in the last couple of years since they drafted you," Smith said as part of his rant about Jeudy. "..he's mentally unable to handle constructive criticism from people who watch specifically [to see] can he be a wide receiver. He can be a wide receiver, he's a tier three. Go back into the studio I'm done now. Thank you."
Smith is known for being one of the most fearless wideouts in modern NFL history, and he's not afraid to back down from a challenge. Jeudy's pregame actions seem to have set him off, as the Broncos wide receiver was also seen dancing in the background of his segment earlier in the show.

Things don't seem to be going well at the moment for Jeudy. The Broncos wide receiver is reportedly on the trade block, with the former first-round pick struggling to be a consistent playmaker for the Sean Payton in his offense.
These comments from Smith won't be a good look for Jeudy, regardless of whether or not the Broncos move on from him.
