Week 7 of the 2023-24 NFL season is in the books, capping off with a Minnesota Vikings home win over the San Francisco 49ers. With that, it's time for another round of hitting the waiver wire.

Below, we have the best pickup options you should look for. With these, we look at players with 50% or less ownership in Yahoo! Sports leagues.
Quarterbacks
- Kenny Pickett, Pittsburgh Steelers (20% owned): Taking on the Los Angeles Rams with Diontae Johnson back in the lineup, Pickett threw for 230 yards and had a rushing touchdown. Over the next two weeks, he'll take on the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans. The Jaguars allow the second-most passing yards per game (273.9), and the Titans allow 11th-most (237). With all these weapons and these matchups, Pickett is a viable bye-week fill in Weeks 8 and 9.
- Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers (10% owned): Before the bye week, Young threw for 464 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions over his most recent two games. Young will face the Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, and Chicago Bears on deck. 245.5, 232.6, and 257.1 passing yards per game, respectively. Again, this is another bye-week option.
Wide Receiver
- Josh Downs, Indianapolis Colts (36% owned): After scoring a touchdown in Week 6, Downs had yet another one in Week 7, but also added five catches and 125 yards. It was quickly his best game against a tough Browns defense. Coming up, Downs will have a more difficult matchup in Week 8 with the New Orleans, but it gets softer against the Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots in the following two weeks. He's had at least six targets in four of his last five starts.
- Kendrick Bourne, New England Patriots (26% owned): The Patriots offense has started to show some semblance of productivity, and Bourne is benefitting. Over his last two games, he has 17 targets, 16 receptions, 152 yards, and a touchdown. He's looking like the No. 1 receiver for the Patriots offense (for whatever that's worth), and they have the Dolphins on deck. The Patriots will be trailing and need to throw against a beatable defense.
Running Backs
- Ezekiel Elliott, New England Patriots (46% owned): Elliott's touches continued in Week 7, carrying the ball 11 times for 31 yards and a score. The 11 carries were his most since Week 3. He's not a viable PPR back, but he's getting some volume that makes him a solid flex in deeper league formats.
- Emari Demercado, Arizona Cardinals (15% owned): There are a few too many "cooks in the kitchen," with Damien Williams and Keontay Ingram also in the fold. Still, they were a non-factor in Week 7 while Demercado led the way with 13 carries for 58 yards while adding four catches for 17 yards. Any time you can pick up a running back who's receiving 15+ touches, that's someone you want to at least have on your roster. His value will diminish when James Conner is back, but he's a worthy flex play.
Tight Ends
- Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints (9% owned): It feels like we're two decades into his career, and we still don't know what position Hill plays. Either way, he runs and catches. In Week 7, Hill had five carries for 18 yards, a touchdown, and four catches on five targets for 50 yards. His usage continues, but we might never know where he'll be most prominent. Still, he's one of the more interesting tight end options to fill in or potentially become your new starter if you drafted with streaming the position in mind. In Week 6, he had seven receptions for 49 yards.
