Stewart posted a graphic on X with a straightforward caption, "Done deal. #ScoDucks."

This comes just one day after Ducks head coach Dan Lanning posted a video stating he'll be staying with the Ducks and refuting all rumors of him becoming the next head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Last November, Lanning said, "I think I've been really, really clear here since day one. Everything I want exists right here. I'm not going anywhere. There's zero chance that I would be coaching somewhere else. I've got unfinished business here. There's a lot that I want to accomplish here at Oregon."

In the video above, it ends with text reading, "If you're scared your coach is leaving... Then come play for us... The Ducks aren't going anywhere... And I'm not leaving..."

Stewart, the six-foot, 175-pound receiver, had 91 catches for 1,161 yards and six touchdowns in two season with Texas A&M. Coming out of Frisco, Texas, Stewart was the No. 1 wide receiver in the country and a 5-star recruit according to 247Sports.

In 2023, Stewart played eight games, catching 38 passes on 59 target for 514 yards and four touchdowns. He had back-to-back 115+ yard games to kick off the season. Those games came against New Mexico and the Miami Hurricanes.

The Ducks are likely losing star wide receiver Troy Franklin to the NFL Draft, so the addition of Stewart comes at a great time.

Now, the Ducks have secured the following players in the transfer portal besides Stewart.

  • CB Kam Alexander
  • RB Jay Harris
  • S Kobe Savage
  • K Atticus Sappington
  • QB Dante Moore
  • QB Dillon Gabriel
  • OT Matthew Bedford

In 2024, Stewart will be catching passes from former Sooners quarterback Dillon Gabriel who passed for 3,655 yards, 30 touchdowns, and six interceptions in 2023.

The Ducks will enter the Big 10 in 2024 and take on teams like Ohio State, Oregon State, Maryland, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
