Ole Miss Coach Lane Kiffin Fires Off Sorority Girls Tweet As Transfer Portal Opens

Theoretically, college athletes are fans of college sorority girls. So some may consider the move by Ole Miss football coach Lane Kiffin to serve as the ultimate recruiting tool.

Kiffin, as you may know, is always pretty active and creative on X, formerly known as Twitter. His most recent post just happened to be of his dog, Juice, eating a cake that was being held by ... you guessed it ... sorority girls. And as you might imagine, the post came at the same time as the transfer portal opened.

Hey, whatever works in this cutthroat business of college football, right?

By the way, an important side note: Juice has his own X account. But as lovable as he is, Juice isn't the reason a transfer might choose Ole Miss. Unless, of course, Juice is surrounded by sorority girls.

"This is truly 4D chess," wrote David Hookstead of Outkick. "Everyone knows Ole Miss is loaded with sorority women. It's among the best in the country, but again, Kiffin can't say that. It'd be beyond weird."

Of course, this isn't the only reason Kiffin and Ole Miss are in the news. They also released a parody back cover of Taylor Swift's new album.

Per the Clarion Ledger:

"The humor is easy to miss at first glance. A parody track list lies in the right margin, riffing on 16 of the songs from Swift's newest release.

It checks most of Kiffin's usual boxes, saying goodbye to the retiring Nick Saban, highlighting the transfer portal, shouting out his dog, Juice, and throwing shade at Mississippi State.

"There are a couple of fun surprises, too. Australian punter Fraser Masin got a reference. So did Lane Kiffin's launched clipboard from a 2020 win over South Carolina."

Sorority girls. Taylor Swift parodies. It really is just another day in Ole Miss football with Lane Kiffin as coach.
