The former Alabama star posted on his Instagram, a video of the giveaway, with the caption, "First purchase... Congrats Ma U Deserve It All."

McKinstry took his mom to the Benz dealership. And upon arrival, a Mercedes AMG G 63 SUV was revealed, which led her to say "wow." When the mom found out the car was a gift, she cried grateful tears.

The car cost $183,000, but the moment shared with McKinstry and his mom was priceless.

For those wondering how Ga'Quincy got his name changed to "Kool-Aid," it was a nickname given by his grandmother, because apparently as a baby his smile would remind her of the 'Kool-Aid Man.' This epithet given to McKinstry has led to him receiving a lot of money, as one of the ways he is able to afford the car, before even signing his rookie contract (four-year/$9.2 million), is with his NIL deals (Name, Image, and Likeness), one of which is with the drink company, Kool-Aid.

As a standout high school football player at Pinson Valley High School in Birmingham, McKinstry made a name for himself, as he was named 'Alabama Mr. Football', and then named USA Today Defensive Player of the Year. To point out, in high school he had two interceptions, both of which he returned for touchdowns. Then the hometown kid went on to play his college ball for the Alabama Crimson Tide, and as a junior this past season, Kool Aid was named first-team All-American.

During his collegiate career, 21-year-old, McKinstry recorded 92 tackles, two sacks, had two interceptions with 23 passes deflected, and returned 37 punts for 418 yards (11.3 yards per return).

To point out, the Birmingham Mercedes Benz dealership, in which McKinstry bought the car, lists his head coach Nick Saban as a partner of the business.

The former Alabama coach, Saban, said this about his player after being drafted, "He's really smart and instinctive. I think that's why he is going to be a really good player. He's probably more ready to play than anybody else. He's physical, I just love this guy."
