As usual, there was plenty to discuss following a basketball game involving Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese. Only this time, it took place in the WNBA.

Clark and Iowa beat Reese and LSU in the NCAA women's tournament this past spring — and again, Clark emerged the victor. Her Indian Fever defeated Reese and the Chicago Sky by a 71-70 count in the first-ever Commander's Cup. So Clark is 1-0 vs. her nemesis in the WNBA.
It was only the second win of the season for the Fever (2-8), who took Clark with the No. 1 overall pick. Reese and the Sky (3-4) also fell below .500.
For the record, Clark scored 11 points on 4-of-11 shooting, to go with eight rebounds and six assists. Reese scored eight points and hauled in 13 boards.
But somewhere in there, things got physical. Namely, Sky guard Chennedy Carter shoved Clark to the ground via her shoulder on an inbounds pass under the basket late in the third quarter. The officials quickly called an off-the-ball foul.
All the while, Reese celebrated wildly.
Why do none of Caitlin Clark’s teammates ever do anything to stop this from happening??pic.twitter.com/j2BGddbdGX

Both Clark and Carter downplayed the incident after the game. Reese didn't speak to reporters.
"I wasn't expecting it," Clark told reporters. "It is what it is. It's a physical game. Go make the free throw and execute on offense and I feel like that's kind of what we did."
Angel Reese is classless. Her reaction to her teammate shoulder checking Caitlin Clark to the ground… ‘me and and Caitlin Clark do not hate each other’

The game also featured the debut of Sky rookie Kamilla Cardoso, who won the national title at South Carolina. She finished with 11 points and six rebounds.
"It was great, and I think it came at a really great time," Clark said after winning the inaugural Commissioner's Cup game. "Our fans were awesome. They were energized. You know we really didn't shoot the ball well at all collectively as a team and you know sometimes that's hard for the fans, like that's what they come to see. But I think they really appreciated our great defense tonight."
