Marlins' Jazz Chisholm Purposefully Douses Reporter With Gatorade Shower In Postgame Interview

After an extra innings thrilling 9-8 win over the St. Louis Cardinals, Miami Marlins outfielder Jazz Chisholm thought it would be a good idea to pour gatorade all over the interviewer.

The Bally Sports reporter Jessica Blaylock was just doing her job, like she is accustomed to after every Marlins game, when all of the sudden Chisholm crept up from behind and emptied out an entire cooler on her, instead of his teammate.

"Oh my goodness, I feel like I just maybe delivered the walk-off hit," Blaylock said into the mic.

Vidal Brujan was pinch-hitting for Christian Bethancourt during the bottom of the 10th inning, when he had the game-winning RBI single, to walk it off in extra innings.

Based on customary tradition, since Brujan was the hero for the Marlins, he was the one who was supposed to get drenched with the celebratory team cooler toss.

This certainly has happened before where both the unsuspecting player and interviewer find themselves getting splashed out of nowhere. That is to say, sometimes during a postgame win an interviewer might get a little bit of liquid on them, however, Chisholm wanted to change it up and make sure that Blaylock was the main victim of the Gatorade shower.

You can't blame the Marlins for messing up the victory drink toss after all, as they haven't many opportunities to do so this season, currently sitting at the bottom of the NL East with a 24-49 record.
