Dolphins Tight End Jonnu Smith Trashes Bills Fans And The Entire City Of Buffalo

It seems that Miami Dolphins tight end Jonnu Smith has given the Buffalo Bills some of the ol' chalkboard motivation. And if not the Bills themselves, then their fans and the entire city.

Smith recently trashed everything Buffalo, and Bills, on The Dive Bar Podcast.

"That's why their fans be behaving so (bad), because they wanna be down here," Smith said, via CBS Sports.

He even trashed Buffalo food.

"That's got to be the worst place you can be in the world," he said. "And the Buffalo wings ain't even good. I'm throwing all types of shots at Buffalo."

Well, alright then. It will be real interesting to see if Smith gets a warm welcome when he returns, given that the Dolphins and Bills are both in the AFC East. That means the Dolphins have to embark on Buffalo for a regular-season game each season.

Smith played in Buffalo three times during his two seasons with the New England Patriots. So he somehow believes he's an expert on the city.

Bryan DeArdo of CBS came to Buffalo's defense:

"Like most cold-weather cities, Buffalo isn't for everyone, and it's safe to say that Jones falls under the category of people who would prefer to live/visit elsewhere. That being said, as someone who recently visited Buffalo, it's certainly a nice city that is populated by some of the nicest civilians you can find (even if you're not a Bills fan).

"Smith is extremely far off when it comes to his take on Buffalo wings. I'd personally recommend Duff's, where the delicious wings are rivaled only by the restaurant's cozy ambiance that includes four hanging jerseys of Bills legends Jim Kelly, Bruce Smith, Thurman Thomas and Andre Reed."

So there you have it, Mr. Smith. Buffalo may not be for you, but the Bills and their fans have plenty of which to be proud.

Smith and the Dolphins visit Buffalo and face Bills Mafia on Nov. 3.
