Presidential candidate Donald J. Trump was grazed by a bullet after an assassination attempt during one of the 45th President's rallies in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

The world was stunned by the news of a gunman shooting at Trump, while he was in the middle of giving a speech, which resulted in the former commander in chief sustaining an injury. Nevertheless, this inevitably was still not able to keep him down, as Trump was seen fist pumping the air with blood all over his face after getting back up.

Following UFC fighter Evan Elder's victory later that evening, he talked about the shooting.
"Hey. I heard they just tried to whack my boy Trump. I'm glad that man's okay. Long live Trump. Let's go baby Trump 2024."

Others took to X (formally known as Twitter), to post their thoughts on the situation, while there were widespread rumors swirling around of Trump, a regular attendee at UFC fights, still being able to go to the event the same night as the failed assassination attempt.

"If Trump is genuinely headed to the UFC event tonight, after taking a bullet, you will be able to register the crowd reaction to his walk-in on the Richter scale," said Clint Russell host of Liberty Lockdown.
Notably, even after being hospitalized, it had originally been reported that Trump was supposed to be on the way to see the UFC Fight Night event, which resulted in growing anticipation from fans, yet with flight logistics this may have been impossible.

That is to say, Trump was released from the hospital at around 9 pm, so with the fights starting at 10 pm ET, he seemingly wouldn't have had enough time to catch a plane en route to Colorado early enough.
Those awaiting Trump's next UFC appearance will have to be patient, but when this does happen, undoubtedly it's going to be electrifying to say the least.
Outspoken endorser of Trump, UFC President Dana White, who was on a flight to Italy at the time, commented on the whole ordeal as he captioned an Instagram post highlighting what had transpired earlier.
"I am absolutely SICK to my stomach and in complete shock... I'm praying President Trump is 100% healthy. This image perfectly reflects EXACTLY the man I know Donald Trump to be. He is the toughest, most resilient, AMERICAN BAD ASS on this planet. I hope the weak coward that shot him gets what he deserves, and I can't WAIT to stand up on stage with him on Thursday and introduce him at the Republican National Convention and tell the WORLD exactly the character of the friend and man I KNOW!!"
