San Antonio Spurs Player Jeremy Sochan Crashed His $240k Green Porsche While Speeding On Texas Highway

NBA player Jeremy Sochan crashed his Porsche on a highway in Texas last Saturday, according to TMZ. In view of the police accident report, officers stated the incident happened on the I-10 and Loop 1604 intersection, as Sochan, 21, lost control of his lime green 2019 sports car and slid off the side of the road.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the probable cause of the accident was from speeding, but no charges were filed.

"[Sochan] stated he was headed SB [south bound] at the listed location when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the left side guard rail/bridge," the report read. "EMS services were refused. TxDOT was contacted and updated on the listed damage. [Sochan's] was the only vehicle involved in the listed incident."

A video portraying the aftermath of the crash was captured, as Sochan was seen on the side of the highway with a police vehicle parked next to his green car.

Sochan's $240,000 car looked to be totally destroyed, but luckily he didn't sustain any injuries and no other cars were involved in the accident.

Notably, the Polish-American was drafted in the first round of the 2022 NBA Draft, and has found a role on the young promising San Antonio Spurs team that also features 2023 first overall pick Victor Wembanyama.

During the 2023-24 NBA season, Sochan averaged 11.6 points (43.8% FG), 6.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists in his second year.
