The Nebraska Cornhuskers and Colorado Buffaloes are set to face off in their 73rd ever matchup, as both teams are very familiar with one another. With last year ending 36-14 in Coach Deion Sanders' favor, Matt Rhule and his team have had this revenge game marked on their calendar all offseason.

To note, Nebraska is led by their new freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola, who passed for 238 yards and 2 touchdowns in a win last week vs. UTEP.
In view of their upcoming game, Colorado head football coach Deion Sanders spoke about the opposing team.
"I have a ton of respect for Matt Rhule," Sanders said. "I feel like we are a fraternity. He was a professional, maybe not the job that he aspired to do, but he has a ton of experience in his college coaching career."
Led by coach Prime's son Shedeur Sanders at quarterback and two-way superstar Travis Hunter, Colorado will look to repeat what they did last year vs. Nebraska, when they won 36-14.

To note, Sanders comes into this matchup leading the nation in passing, after throwing for 445 yards and four touchdowns last week vs. North Dakota State, while Hunter had 131 receiving yards and three touchdowns in the first game.
Last year, soon after the Sanders duo joined the Buffaloes, there seemed to be some animosity building between both football programs.
"It was extremely personal... The coach said a lot of things about my Pops, about the program- but now he wanna act nice. I don't respect that."

Undoubtedly, both teams will be pumped up once again for this upcoming game, as these two schools' rivalry dates all the way back to 1898, with Nebraska winning 49 times, and Colorado 21 times (two ties). To point out, since Nebraska left the Big 12, Colorado has won each of the last three matchups.
