Tyreek Hill's Legal Team Calls For Miami-Dade Police Officers To Be Fired Immediately Following Traffic Stop Incident

Hill's attorney Julius B. Collins, released a statement regarding the situation, which outlined several moments where they felt cops used unnecessary aggressive force during the traffic stop.

"We are of the opinion that the officer's use of force was excessive, escalating, and reckless. We are demanding that the officer be terminated effective immediately."

The first alarming actions taken by the police was when the Dolphins superstar receiver was pulled out of his McLaren, and handcuffed face down on the street, after he was only originally pulled over for going 60 mph in a 40 mph zone.

Then, afterwards one of the cops grabbed Hill, trying to force him on the sidewalk, even after he told them about his knee surgery.

The officer who seems to have crossed the line in this scenario has been identified as Danny Torres, and he has been placed on "administrative leave" following his actions according to the Miami-Dade Police Department.

The statement put out by Hill's legal team continued, "While we are in no way accusing the officer of being racist, we are accusing the customs and practices of law enforcement from a historical standpoint of being discriminatory and oppressive to black and minority communities... We cannot ignore this fact and remain silent on the issue just because it's a tough conversation."

After originally speaking to reporters following the detainment Sunday afternoon, Hill's agent Drew Rosenhaus has been adamant about his client being targeted, but says the Dolphins star wants to "turn this negative into a positive."

In view of Hill's performance on Sunday, he evidently didn't let any of this affect his play, as the eight-time Pro Bowler and five-time All-Pro wide receiver had seven catches for 130 yards, and an 80-yard touchdown catch, followed up by an iconic "handcuffs celebration."
