Thursday Night Football: Where to Watch New York Jets vs. New England Patriots

The NFL season is rolling on as week three will officially kick off with Thursday Night Football. This week's matchup will be another divisional showdown for the AFC East as the New York Jets will square off with the New England Patriots. Fans can watch the game on streaming via Amazon Prime or locally on Fox through their cable television provider.

AFC East is Wide Open For Jets

The Jets are 1-1 on the season, the same record they had in the first two games of the 2023 season. But the landscape is completely different.

The Buffalo Bills traded their all-pro wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans this past offseason. And Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagoviloa was officially placed on injured reserve after suffering a concussion vs the Bills last week.

With the AFC as wide open as it is, the Jets have the opportunity to win their first division title since 2002.

Joe Douglas Gives Update on Haasson Reddick

The Jets have one of the most star-studded cores in the NFL. With second-year stand-outs in Garrett Wilson, Sauce Gardener, and a healthy Aaron Rodgers, the Jets could make some noise this season.

However, one key player has been missing from the Jets' defensive lineup this season. That being star pass-rusher Haason Reddick.

The Jets completed a blockbuster trade to acquire Reddick from the Philadelphia Eagles this past offseason. And they did so knowing the disgruntled star has refused to play without a new deal in place. Still, the Jets took the risk on Reddick and without a new deal, he has continued to hold out.

But even after parting with an assortment of draft picks to acquire the star defensive lineman and no production as of yet, Jets general manager Joe Douglas isn't showing any sign of buyer's remorse.

"Nothing's changed from our end. Obviously, I have a ton of respect for Haason and awaiting his arrival. Looking forward to when he does. He will be welcomed with open arms," Douglass said.

'Felt really good about the conversations leading up to and at the moment of the trade. So, again, we're going to be excited to have him when he decides to arrive."

But even with his optimism, Douglass says things are at a standstill with Redick and the Jets.

"I can't lay out any expectations right now But when he does arrive - we're all going to be excited," he added.
