Fans Go Wild Over Bills' Josh Allen's Hot Performance Against the Jaguars

The Buffalo Bills made their 2024 primetime debut against Trevor Lawrence and the Buffalo Bills. And boy did it get ugly early. The Bills scored three touchdowns on their first three drives and never looked back. At the end of the first half, the score was 34-3 in favor of the Bills. And it was largely because of their starting quarterback, Josh Allen.

Fans React to Josh Allen's Scorching First Half

Allen threw four touchdowns and had 247 passing yards in the first half alone. As one fan put it he was "both the hero and the villain in so many fantasy leagues.

And several other fans weighed in with their reactions.

"Oh look at me I'm Josh Allen. I have a rocket arm. I run over the best athletes in the world. I'm dating Hailee Steinfeld. I'm the king of my city. F**k you," one fan playfully mocked.

"Josh Allen putting on a clinic.  Really showing that he is the reason this Offense is elite. He makes those around him better not vice versa," former NFL cornerback Richard Sherman said.

"Josh Allen got 250 yards passing at the half??? Oh my goodness lmao," another fan added.

"Watching Josh Allen do what he's doing with these weapons makes me want to launch Matt Nagy into the sun," another fan said.

Bills QB Gets Candid on Stefon Diggs

A lot of people were unsure of what to expect from the Bills this season. Especially after they traded their star wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans during the offseason.

"I think Stef's a great player, and what he brought to this team was special," Allen said when reporters asked if he "missed" having Diggs in Buffalo.

"So, 'miss' is, I don't know if I'd say 'miss,' he was a guy that was reliable, you could look to. He's going to have the juice each and every day — I'm sure he's bringing it over there in Houston," Allen added.

"So definitely, you can't say that you don't miss that. But I am very happy with what we have going on here and how hard the guys have been working."

But so far things have looked good for Buffalo. They sit atop the AFC East and have a chance to start 3-0. The last time that happened was in 2020 when they made it to the AFC Championship Game but lost to the eventual champion Kansas City Chiefs.
