Lamar Jackson is a Fan of Tom Brady's Nickname for Him

Tom Brady has unveiled his nickname for Lamar Jackson, one that the Baltimore Ravens quarterback greatly appreciates.

That seven-time NFL champion has dubbed Jackson "The Eraser." This is a nickname that Brady unveiled as Jackson led the Baltimore Ravens to a 28-25 win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3.

"He's like superhuman," Brady said while calling the game for Fox Sports. "I call him 'The Eraser.' He just erases things that come up when you see bad football.

"That [broken play] would be a negative play for almost every other quarterback, and he turns it into another rushing first down. It's awesome."

Jackson and the Ravens needed a win during this game in Dallas. They delivered it with big plays on offense. Derrick Henry rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns. Jackson completed 12 of his 15 attempted passes and threw a touchdown to Rashod Bateman. He also rushed for a touchdown.

Jackson learned of the nickname on Wednesday while preparing for a game against the undefeated Buffalo Bills. He said it was "dope" that Brady nicknamed him "The Eraser" and said that the former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback was one of the greatest of all time.

This discourse about the nickname is not the first time that Brady and Jackson have shown each other respect. An earlier example occurred in January when Jackson made an appearance on "Let's Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald, and Jim Gray."

It was during this episode that Jackson explained how Brady's performances in the biggest games inspired him.

"Falcons Super Bowl game, that was one of the greatest games ever," Jackson explained. "That made me — when we're down in games, I'm like, 'Tom Brady came back and beat the Falcons in the Super Bowl.'

"No matter what — if we're down or something — no doubt in my mind we can come back and win the game no matter what. That's one of the ones I'm like, 'That's the GOAT of GOATs right there.'"

Brady responded by saying that Jackson has the intangibles that make him special. He says that the Ravens quarterback inspires his teammates by his actions and that they are never out of any game.
