Cowboys vs Giants Thursday Night Football: Where to Watch

The NFL season is rolling on as week four will officially kick off with Thursday Night Football.

Where to Watch Thursday Night Football

This week's matchup will be another divisional showdown. This time two bitter rivals will battle to make up ground in the NFC East. The New York Giants will square off with the Dallas Cowboys.

Fans can watch the game on streaming exclusively via Amazon either through Amazon Prime or Prime Video. Unfortunately, that game will not be available locally through your cable television provider.

There is also a player rivalry stewing in between the team rivalry. Cowboys star cornerback Trevon Diggs and Giants rookie wide receiver engaged in a war of words during the offseason. It will be interesting to see what happened as they shared the field for the first time on Thursday.

Cowboys and Giants Desperately Need a Win

New York is riding high after a win over Deshaun Watson and the Cleveland Browns last week. But they have a much larger task on Thursday, going against an elite Dallas Cowboys defense led by all-pro pass rusher Micah Parsons.

From a team standpoint, the Cowboys are officially in desperation mode. Their comeback effort against the Baltimore Ravens fell short on Sunday as they lost 25-28 and fell to 1-2 in the standings, tied for worst in the division with the Giants.

As a team that came into the season with championship aspirations, falling into a 1-3 could not only be detrimental to their Super Bowl hopes but their playoff aspirations overall.

But despite a slow start to the season, the Cowboys seem to be optimistic about their season. They have one of the best receivers in the NFL in CeeDee Lamb, an elite quarterback in Dak Prescott, and several star-caliber players on the defensive side of the field.

History is also on the Cowboys' side in this matchup. In his short career, Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has never won a football game that wasn't played on a Sunday. But after struggling in their first game against the Minnesota Vikings, Danny Dimes has picked up the pace. He's thrown four touchdowns and no interceptions in his last two games.

With another rivalry game on the horizon, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.
