Lamar Jackson Claps Back at Critics After Ravens Big Win Over Bills

Despite it being their first win of the season, the Baltimore Ravens were unsatisfied with their Week 3 win over the Dallas Cowboys. After leading the game 28-6, the Ravens allowed the Cowboys to climb back into the game in the final quarter. And despite dominating most of the game they won by just three points.

Lamar Jackson Claps Back at Critics After Ravens' Win

Coming into Week 4, the Ravens had a much bigger test in front of them. They faced an undefeated Buffalo Bills squad sitting at 3-0. This time around the Ravens won pretty convincingly with a score of 35-10. But their quarterback Lamar Jackson's stats were underwhelming based on his standards. He threw for just 156 yards on the night. But Jackson sent a message to hit critics, noting that the only thing he cares about is wins.

"This is a "TEAM" sport I'm not out here satisfied when I threw for 300 yards but took a L. If I throw for 50 yds and we WIN, that's wtf matters," Jackson wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter on September 30.

"Yall stop commenting on our socials about the yds yall fan duel or parlays ain't hit"

Derrick Henry Goes Off Against Buffalo

One of the reasons that Jackson's statistics were below average is because of the play of their running back, Derrick Henry. On the Raven's opening offensive play of the game, Henry busted through the defense for an 87-yard touchdown and never looked back. He finished the game with 209 yards of offense, one rushing touchdown, and one touchdown catch.

But there was one blemish on Henry's big night. After fumbling the ball in the endzone, Henry finished just shy of a 200 rushing yard game with 199. That would have been his seventh career game rushing for 200 yards which would break the NFL record that he currently shares with Adrian Peterson and the late O.J. Simpson.

In his post-game interview with Sunday Night Football sideline reporter Lisa Stark, Henry admitted that it is something that would bother him. But still, he and the Ravens have to be feeling good about a good win at home against a quality opponent.
