President Joe Biden Upset Over Not Being Allowed At Olympics

The President of the United States, Joe Biden, wanted to attend the 2024 Paris Olympics this summer, however, according to him, apparently he wasn't allowed.

Biden told a group of 400 Team USA athletes from the Olympics and Paralympics, who visited the White House, about him not being able to go to watch them in Paris, France a couple months back.

"Because I'm president and I cause commotion when I go places, they wouldn't let me go the Olympics. But I watched it all. Jill, my wife, went to the Olympics."

Nevertheless, Biden noted that no one can do anything to stop him for the upcoming Los Angeles 2028 Games, as he will be stepping down ahead of his chance at a second-presidential term. Which means either Vice President Kamala Harris or former President Donald Trump will be in office at that time.

Some have questioned why the 81-year-old world leader cannot do as he pleases. That is to say, more likely than not, when he refers to "they," it is the staff members a part of his administration that are preventing him from going.

To mention the notable Presidents that attended, Ronald Reagan went to the Los Angeles Olympics in 1984, and Bill Clinton visited the Atlanta Olympics in 1996, while George W. Bush went to the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

In view of the dominance portrayed by U.S. athletes over the years, it has now been eight Olympics in a row that Team USA won the most medals (126- 40 golds, 44 silvers, 42 bronzes).
