Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams has requested a trade, and evidently there is now a new team added to the list of preferred landing spots for the six-time Pro Bowler.

Adams previously stated that he wanted to play for a team that one of his former quarterback teammates was on, which would mean joining Aaron Rodgers on the New York Jets or Derek Carr on the New Orleans Saints.
However, now it seems Adams has a new preference, as he recently just posted a picture of Edgar Allan Poe on his Instagram story. Notably, Poe is an American writer who is best known for his gothic style of poetry. And for those who don't know one of Allan Poe's greatest works is a poem called, "The Raven."

So it is either Adams is a huge fan of Allan Poe and classic American literature, or he's insinuating that he wants to go to Baltimore to join Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.
With this in mind, back during Week 2, when the Raiders were set to face off with the Ravens, Adams called them "one of the best defenses in the league."
He then went on to call Lamar "the best ball carrier ever."
"He's the best, in my opinion, best ball carrier ever — no matter what position you want to talk about. I don't think anybody's as big of a threat carrying the football," Adams said.
While it is no secret Adams wants out of Vegas, it's important to note that he is not a free agent and currently signed to a five-year/$140 million. That is to say, his hope now may be that the Raiders front office will ship him to Baltimore, so he can go to the destination of the place where Edgar Allan Poe wrote one of his best poems.
