Travis Kelce’s Ex Talks About Dealing With Hate From Taylor Swift Fans

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce previously dated Kayla Nicole for five years, and now with pop star Taylor Swift being romantically linked with her ex, evidently she is receiving much hate online coming from 'Swifties.'

That is to say, appearing as a guest on Chicago Sky player Angel Reese's podcast, "Unapologetically Angel," Nicole opened up about how all the mean comments have taken a toll on her.

After Reese brought up the topic of Kelce, there was much dialogue about how Nicole has been affected ever since the NFL star moved on.

"I would be lying if I said that that level of hate and just, like, online chaos didn't impact me, it does. Even to this day," Nicole said. "You can go to my most recent [social media] post and it will be people debating each other why I am worthless and I'll never be a talented person and I have no career..."

The question then shifted to why so much hate is thrown in her direction, as the breakup did not appear to be messy on her end.

"I don't know," Nicole said. "I think that there's something about that level of fame that attracts crazy people and it's unfortunate because I've never done anything to warrant that kind of backlash."

Nicole even added that she has seen Kelce out and about in public since they parted ways, but she says she knows better than to try and strike up a conversation.

"We've seen each other in public spaces but I think that we're both aware of the nature of his new situation that there's just no room to communicate or acknowledge each other publicly without it being spun into something crazy."

While hosting a football show last week, Nicole appeared to throw shade at Kelce, as a video posted by "iamathletedaily" showed her referencing his slow start to the season, with him only having 15 catches for 158 yards during the first four games of the season.
