Reality Star Gets Honest About Travis Kelce
Before getting with Taylor Swift last year, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce was in a long-standing relationship with Nicole, after meeting on his reality show "Catching Kelce." However, it didn't last. The two called it quits in 2022.
One of the rumored reasons that Nicole and Kelce broke up, was that the star tight end was making her go half on their bills. However, during a recent appearance on WNBA star Angel Reese's podcast, Unapologetically Angel, Nicole was quick to shut that notion down.
"Do I look like I would go 50-50 on bills? So, yeah, that was ridiculous. But he addressed that too though," Nicole said.
"I don't even know why that became a thing. It was never an issue during our relationship, but it was definitely a rumor on the internet."
Since breaking up with Kelce in 2022, Nicole has tried to remain mum about the Chiefs star. But that is more difficult to do now that she is one of the hosts of I am Athlete where she is required to talk about sports, including Kelce.
Earlier this month, Nicole appeared to call out Kelce's slow start to the year. During a sports betting promo, she asked her co-hosts if they thought Kelce would hit his over against the Saints, noting his rough start to the year.
Some people thought she was throwing shade, but Nicole insisted that she was just doing her job.
"To think that I'm not going to talk about the number one team in the NFL with the best quarterback and the best tight end. That's going to come with the territory," she said.
