Angel Reese Says Her WNBA Salary Can Not Cover Her $8k/Month Rent

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese has come out and said that she is living beyond her means, as her current $74k/year salary evidently can't cover all of her expenses, especially her $8,000 rent every month.

While broadcasting on Instagram live Wednesday, Reese admitted to all of her fans that the WNBA doesn't pay her bills.

"Hating pays them bills, baby. I just hope you know the WNBA don't pay my bills at all," she said. "I don't even think that pay one of my bills. Literally, I'm trying to think of my rent for where I stay at. Let me do the math real quick. I don't even know my [WNBA] salary. $74,000?"

To point out, Reese does get endorsement money, so she is not totally broke. Nevertheless, if she continues with her current budgeting, it might not take long for that to happen.

All in all, the LSU standout has a promising future, but she may need to hire a new manager or accountant to help her make better financial decisions.

In view of Reese's career, she was the No. 7 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft and went on to have a stellar season, receiving one vote for Rookie of the Year, which kept her rival Caitlin Clark from winning ROTY unanimously.

During her first year in the league, Reese averaged 13.6 points (39.1% FG), 13.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game.
