Teams Inquiring About Jets Garrett Wilson

The Jets may have lost their first game against the Bills under interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich, but things look promising. Their offense looked as fluid as it has looked this season under their new head coach. In addition, help is on the way for New York. On Tuesday the Jets finalized a deal to land all-pro wide receiver Davante Adams. After missing the previous three weeks with a hamstring injury, Adams suited up on Sunday Night.

Following the trade ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter says that the Jets have started to receive calls about the availability of their other star wide receiver, Garrett Wilson.

"After the New York Jets' acquisition of Davante Adams this week, a select group of NFL teams have inquired into whether the Jets would be willing to trade fellow star wide receiver Garrett Wilson, league sources told ESPN on Saturday. The Jets have heard from other teams but are not planning to trade Wilson, according to sources," Schefter wrote.

"It's understandable why teams would reach out to the Jets, who added talent at the wide receiver position in Adams. These teams also know Wilson eventually will be in line to land the type of lucrative contract that other wide receivers have signed in recent months, as the market at that position has exploded."
