Taylor Trammell, Who Played In 10 Major League Games This Year, Will Receive A World Series Ring No Matter If Yankees Or Dodgers Win

"Because I'm with the Yankees now, I completely forgot," Trammell told the Athletic. "If the Dodgers win it, I can get a ring as well."

That is to say, Trammell appeared in 10 MLB games this year, split evenly with each the Dodgers and the Yankees.

Notably, in the MLB, every player who makes contributions to a team, even if it is just one plate appearance (or 2 for the Yankees in Trammell's case), they are eligible to get credit for a championship.

To point out, Trammell actually started the year in spring training with the Seattle Mariners, however, after not making the Opening Day roster, he was designated for assignment and claimed by the Dodgers.

Then he played from April 5-April 16 in Los Angeles, going 0-for-6 with three strikeouts. Since being let go, he was picked up by the Yankees and went 1-for-1. After May 3, he spent the rest of his time in the minor leagues.

Nevertheless, his efforts will be rewarded, as he made plate appearances for both the NL and AL champion teams.

In view of Trammell's Triple-A stats with the Yankees' affiliate, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders team, he hit .256 and had 18 home runs, to go with 63 RBI's, 65 runs, and 20 stolen bases in 106 games this season.
