In the early morning of October 18, Denver Broncos 29-year-old wide receiver Josh Reynolds was the victim of a shooting outside of a local strip club. Around 3 am last Friday, according to 9NEWS, someone called 911 about a shooting near East Hampden Avenue and South Dahlia Street.

Officers arrived at the scene and located the victims, which included Reynolds, who was shot twice, once in his left arm and once in the back of his head.
According to the court documents, there were two other victims, as another man was shot in his back, and a third victim was wounded by shattered glass.
According to court documents, as they left around 2:45 am there appeared to no problems, however, there were two drivers that followed them in vehicles and shots were fired.
Then the shooters continued to follow them as they got onto the highway. As a result of the bullets penetrating the vehicle, it stopped and they had to run on foot.
It was discovered that all three victims had scrapes from climbing over a fence, while trying to run away after attending a strip club called Shotgun Willies.
Ultimately, the two perpetrators were arrested by Denver Police on Wednesday. The men have been identified as Burr Charlesworth and Luis Mendoza.
Video footage showed Mendoza going into the club around midnight, and he was seen watching Reynolds and his crew leave, before subsequently trailing them and taking multiple shots.

The Denver Broncos released a statement on this incident on Thursday October 24.
"Josh Reynolds was a victim of a shooting on Friday in Denver and received treatment for minor injuries. Out of respect for the legal process, we will defer further comment on this matter to the authorities."
The eight-year wide receiver, who is currently on injured reserve, has caught 12 passes for 183 yards and one touchdown this season. Throughout his career, the former LA Rams and Detroit Lions player has accumulated 3,116 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns.
