Shaq is in hot water today after offering some controversial business advice on Angel Reese's podcast.

Shaq: "A pretty girl dunking on the rim, I'm watching that all day."

In a recent episode of 'Unapologetically Angel', O'Neal and Reese were discussing the gap in salaries between NBA and WNBA athletes before the Hall-of-Famer suggested a solution that "nobody's gonna like."

"In women's volleyball, the net is lowered just a little bit," Shaq said. "I'm not saying to lower it to 9 feet or nothing, just 9.9 or something."

Reese pushed back on his recommendation, expressing her disgust with how that is seemingly always the solution. O'Neal doubled down on his proposal by saying dunks in women's basketball would enable more people to tune in. He then illustrated a scenario that has left a sour taste in many viewers' mouths.

"Imagine you in the same little shorts you had on at the Wild N Out show dunking, you know how many T-Shirts you're going to sell, you're tripping."

Reese, visually caught off guard by O'Neal's comments, looked to move on with the show and away from the topic.

It also led to several people on social media scolding the Hall of Famer for his actions

"That clip of Shaq talking to Angel Reese is nasty bro," one person said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"Angel Reese is really learning the hard way about men, especially with the way Shaq's been acting lately," another user added.

The moment caught mixed reviews online, some lauding Reese for her handling of the situation while others trolled Shaq for his actions.

Reese is Raking in Some Dough of Her Own

While the salaries for WNBA athletes are relatively small, Reese has capitalized on her fame to find other ways to stay afloat.

The Chicago Sky rookie recently signed a multiyear endorsement contract extension with Reebok that includes her own signature shoe. Following the news, Reese took to X to joke that she can now "afford her bills."

She made the joke in reference to a post from earlier in the month where she disclosed that her WNBA income barely covers her car note and $8,000 rent.
