Gisele Bundchen Announces Pregnancy
Things appear to be on the up and up for both Tom and Gisele. One source close to the former supermodel told PEOPLE that Gisele and Joaquim are expecting their first child together.
The source also added that the couple are ecstatic to start a "new chapter," together.
"Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they're looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family," the source said.
As usual, fans went crazy with reactions on social media.
"Wait what?? I thought she was still with Tom Brady, I guess she moved on quickly. Good for her tho, she seems happy with the new guy," one user said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"Bless her ministry. A newborn at 44 when you're close to the finish line with the other 2 isn't for the faint of heart. Good for them!" another person added.
Tom Brady Expresses Regret Over Roast Jokes
For some, the news of Bundchen and Valente's pregnancy comes as a surprise. Especially because of the aftermath of Tom Brady's Netflix roast in May. Bundchen and Valente were the subject of several jokes that toe the line of acceptable, and rumors had suggested that the pair had split because Joaquim couldn't handle the spotlight. After the roast, Brady expressed his regrets about hurting people that he loved in the process.
"I loved it when the jokes were about me. Thought they were so fun. I didn't like the way that affected my kids," Brady said.
"It's the hardest part about like, the bittersweet aspect of when you do something that you think is one way, and then all of a sudden you realize, 'I wouldn't do that again,' because of the way that affected the people that I care about the most in the world."
He also noted that it was an important lesson for him to learn as a parent.
"I think it's a good lesson for me as a parent. I'm going to be a better parent as I go forward because of it, and at the same time, I'm happy everyone who was there had a lot of fun," he added.
