Amon-Ra St. Brown Rocks 'Green Bay Sucks' Hoodie
With both teams overperforming this season, It's safe to say that this head-to-head matchup will be each team's most important test of the season. And with the Lions and Packers sitting at first and second in the NFC North respectively, it's not an exaggeration to say this is a must-win game for both squads.
Ahead of the matchup, Detroit Lions star Amon-Ra St. Brown stirred the pot before he even got to the stadium. The Lions star showed up wearing a "Green Bay Sucks," hoodie.

That of course led to several fan reactions on social media.
"Trash talk starts early! Amon-Ra St. Brown coming in hot with the 'GREEN BAY SUCKS' sweatshirt. Packers better be ready for a fight," one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"I feel like these kinds of things always end up aging poorly lol but I hope it doesn't come back to bite us," another fan chimed in.
Lions Star Reacts to George Pickens' Comments
After a career season in 2023, St. Brown has quickly risen to the top of the NFL's wide receiver rankings. However some believe that Brown's success is not necessarily the result of his individual talent, but rather the Lions' offensive schemes.
Earlier this season, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens seemed to agree with that notion, referring to the Lions star as a "slot merchant." Some perceived that to be a shot at St. Brown, but the Lions star said that he did not take any offense to Pickens' comments.
"I honestly don't even think it was a stray. I feel like a lot of people just saw the clip, and saw a short part of it. I don't think he meant anything bad," St. Brown said.
"He was just saying if you have a good offensive coordinator, which we do have. Ben's great. I do feel like he's special at what he does, he's able to get guys in spots to make plays. It's a credit to Ben, and everyone on our staff. I don't think he meant any malintent. He just saying what an offensive coordinator (can) make plays."
