Fans Rip Cris Collinsworth During Sunday Night Football

The matchup between the Vikings and the Colts was star-studded. Featuring the likes of Justin Jefferson, Michael Pittman, and Sam Darnold. However, it was NBC Sports analyst, Cris Collinsworth who was the center of attention.

Fans could not help but express their disappointment with Collinsworth's analysis during the Vikings vs. Colts telecast and did not hold back on social media.

"Cris Collinsworth just called the Vikings defense "the most exotic defense in the league" What does that even mean?" one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"Cris Collinsworth needs to go," another user added.

Colts Received Calls About Anthony Richardson's Availability

The Indianapolis Colts had a new look when they took the field on Sunday night. After a rough start to the season, Colts head coach Shane Steichen decided to bench second-year quarterback Anthony Richardson. It was a decision that surprised many but the Colts have been unable to gain any traction in the AFC South division with Richardson under center.

And sitting at 4-4 on the year, the Colts season is still salvageable as an AFC Wild Card berth is not completely out of reach. Steichen will now put the ball in the hands of veteran quarterback Joe Flacco to lead them moving forward.

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, teams have begun to call the Colts to check in about Richardson's availability ahead of the November 5 NFL trade deadline.

"Teams have inquired with the #Colts about the possibility of trading QB Anthony Richardson, who was benched this week, though a trade is considered unlikely," Schultz tweeted on November 3.

"Several teams I spoke to still view Richardson as a franchise-caliber quarterback, and view Indy pulling the plug on him after 10 regular season starts as "premature."

With the trade deadline nearing it will be interesting to see how this situation between Richardson and the Colts develops.
