However with licensing disputes and lawsuits, there were fears that Shaquille O'Neal, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, and Ernie Johnson may not be able to continue the legendary show.

Joe Flint of The Wall Street Journal is the one who initially reported the breaking news regarding the fan favorite "Inside the NBA" being saved.

"Warner Bros. Discovery struck a deal with Disney to license the TNT show 'Inside the NBA' to ESPN and ABC starting next season, according to the people familiar with the matter. The show will air throughout the course of the season."

CNBC reporter Alex Sherman also summed it up in a post on X:

"Can confirm WBD has reached a settlement with the NBA. Inside the NBA will continue and be licensed to ESPN. All the talent will remain TNT Sports employees and can be used in other future shows or projects for warner bros Discovery."

Basically in layman's terms, it has been revealed that since Warner Bros. Discovery and the NBA settled on the lawsuit, the popular show will now be produced by WBD. Furthermore, starting in 2025-2026, instead of being on TNT, it will be aired on ESPN and NBC.
