'Trump Dance' takes over multiple games on NFL Sunday

Election Day is in the rearview mirror, and Inauguration Day is just over 60 days away. However, President-elect Donald Trump and his "signature dance" have taken center stage during Week 11 of the NFL.

Trump generated attention while on the campaign trail as he performed a specific dance while "YMCA" played over loudspeakers. The campaign has since ended, but the dance lives on.

Members of the San Francisco 49ers defense broke out the dance last week after Nick Bosa sacked Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield. Several other players then followed suit during the early slate of Week 11 games on Sunday.

This list includes Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers, who performed the dance after scoring a 23-yard touchdown against the Miami Dolphins.

The list continued with Detroit Lions defenders Malcolm Rodriguez and Za'Darius Smith. This duo celebrated a sack by mimicking golf swings and then performing the Trump Dance.

Tennessee Titans receivers Calvin Ridley and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine also broke out the celebration during a game against the Minnesota Vikings. Westbrook-Ikhine scored a 98-yard touchdown against the NFC North team.

Of course, this celebration did not simply make appearances on NFL Sunday. It also surfaced after a high-profile MMA match on Saturday night.

Jon "Bones" Jones faced off with Stipe Miocic in the main event of UFC 309. Jones scored the win by TKO in the third round. His spinning back kick to Miocic's ribs knocked the UFC fighter over and forced the referee to stop the fight.

How did Jones celebrate his second heavyweight win? He stood in the center of the ring and did the Trump Dance while analyst Joe Rogan laughed. Jones then pointed at and gave a thumbs up to Trump, who sat next to the octagon with Elon Musk.

"I also want to say a big thank you for President Donald Trump for being here tonight," Jones said during his post-fight interview.
