According to a Monday announcement, Gray will continue to drive the No. 15 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro for Tricon Garage. 2025 will mark his sixth full-time season with the David Gilliland-run organization.

"We are excited to have Tanner back with us for another season. He is a foundational member of our team, and we are eager to continue to grow our organization alongside (Tanner) and Corey," Gilliland said in a statement from the team.

"I am very pleased with the progress we are making at Tricon and look forward to continuing our pursuit of new milestones."

Gray, a former NHRA Pro Stock champion, made his move to stock car racing in 2019. He drove full-time in the ARCA Menards Series East for David Gilliland Racing, and he won a race at South Boston Speedway. Gray also made his Truck Series debut with three starts.

The 2020 season was his first as a full-time Truck Series driver. Gray set career highs with four top-five finishes and eight top-10 finishes. He ended his rookie season 14th in the standings.

Gray continued to compete full-time in the Truck Series as David Gilliland Racing moved from Ford Performance to Toyota Gazoo Racing North America and became Tricon Garage.

While he has yet to win a race at the national NASCAR level, the New Mexico native ended last season a career-best 13th in the championship standings. He also won two ARCA Menards Series races while running a part-time schedule with Joe Gibbs Racing.

The Tricon Garage lineup has continued to take shape after the end of the Truck Series season. Championship contender Corey Heim will be back in the No. 11 for another season while Gray will return to the No. 15.

Tricon Garage will have to replace Taylor Gray, who will move to the Xfinity Series with Joe Gibbs Racing. The team has not addressed whether Dean Thompson will return for another season.

"Tricon has become a second home to me, and I am looking forward to another year as the driver of the 15," Gray said in a statement.

"I feel like we have some unfinished business after this past season, and I am as motivated as ever to compete in the postseason in 2025."
