According to a press release, the organization has finalized its Cup crew chief lineup while adding a new technical director. 2017 Daytona 500 champion Mike Cook will take on this latter role as he makes the move from Stewart-Haas Racing. He previously served as a lead engineer for Kurt Busch, Aric Almirola, and Chase Briscoe.

Australia native Andrew Dickeson will join Kaulig Racing as the crew chief for Ty Dillon and the No. 10 team. Dickeson makes the move from Richard Childress Racing where he has spent several years as an engineer. Kaulig Racing and Richard Childress Racing have a technical alliance.

Longtime crew chief Trent Owens will continue to work on the Cup Series program. He will join forces with AJ Allmendinger on the No. 16 team while reuniting with the California native. Owens and Allmendinger previously spent multiple Cup races together at JTG Daugherty Racing.

Owens has won across all three national series. He won a Cup race at Daytona with Aric Almirola and a Truck Series race with Kyle Larson. He guided Dave Blaney, Mark Martin, Nelson Piquet Jr., Reed Sorenson, and James Buescher to wins in the Xfinity Series.

"After a decade of learning and honing my craft, I am really excited to contribute to the continuing growth of Kaulig Racing," Cook said in a statement. "Nothing in racing happens overnight, but I know I have the tools and the support I need to bring immediate impact.

"Andrew has the demeanor and stability that I think will give Ty the best opportunity he has ever had at the Cup level. AJ and Trent are just in sync and have a great working relationship. Both drivers are hungry and dedicated, so I know that team is going to be strong and impress some people in 2025."
