But there was a scary moment in the first half involving Panthers wide receiver Xavier Legette. Legette caught a pass in the open field and was immediately cracked by Eagles star cornerback C.J. Gardner-Johnson and was slow to get up.

A.J. Brown Gets Honest on Eagles' Offensive Versatility

The Eagles were slow out of the gates to start the season. After four games, they were 2-2 and didn't look like a team with the makings of a title contender. But after a pedestrian start the Eagles have caught fire, and so far, no team has been able to put the flame out, as they have won eight consecutive games.

The Eagles have built their way back to the top of the NFC East in a myriad of ways. Their head coach Nick Sirianni has proven to be versatile with his offensive approach with an elite passing game and punishing running game. Eagles star receiver A.J. Brown believes that is what ultimately has been their recipe for success this season.

"You want to be able to win in multiple ways," Brown said. "And as we continue to build, I think we'll continue to see that even more. That's what the good offenses have. They're capable of doing both. They're not one-dimensional. So, we just want to continue to build, build our toolbox, build our portfolio, if you will, of what we can do, and how efficiently we can do all these different things."

However, Brown also added that as competitors, the versatility can sometimes be frustrating, but winning remains the ultimate goal.

"It's like a good and bad thing. We're happy the guys [run] the ball. But we want the ball, too. But it happens. You're onto the next game. You take it. So, it's all good," he added.
