And on the fourth hole of Sunday's round at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club, Charlie hit the best shot of his life, as he sunk a hole-in-one from 177 yards out to put Team Woods within one shot of the leaderboard's top position.

After teeing off on the Par 3, the ball took a couple bounces before rolling right in the cup.

In what was a surprise to everyone, even Charlie was seen mouthing the words, "Did that go in?"

To point out, Tiger also showed flashes of his old self, as he helped set up a birdie putt by hitting the ball from the trees on the first hole.

That is to say, after Day 1 of the tournament there was back-and-forth banter between father and son, as Charlie told reporters that he was surprised how good Tiger has been playing.

And Tiger jokingly responded, "Yeah, I used to be good."

To note, the PNC Championship annual golf tournament is hosted by Woods, and often times features father-son duos going head-to-head vs. each other.

Ever since 2020 Tiger and his son have headlined at the event, but have yet to take home the first place prize.

Notably, the pair did come in second place in 2021, finishing just behind John Daly and his son, John Daly II.

With this in mind, according to some reports Team Woods may face-off with Team Daly early next year, which will be broadcasted on TNT.

In view of this year's competition, it is yet to be seen who will finish on top, but at the moment Team Woods has a good chance to win (currently tied for first -28).
