Once again the Dallas Cowboys came into this season with high hopes and as usual, their season ended with bitter disappointment. The Cowboys were among the first batch of teams to be eliminated from playoff contention in 2024 and they now enter the NFL offseason with a bevy of unanswered questions that need to be addressed.

Brandon Aubrey Nails Cheerleader With Whiffed Kick
But in true Cowboys fashion, they had to add injury to insult to close out the regular season. During a first-half kickoff in their matchup with the Washington Commanders, Cowboys' kicker Brandon Aubrey whiffed on a kick that sailed out of bounds and nailed one of Dallas' cheerleaders right in the head.
It was a scary scene at first but the cheerleader appeared to be okay as the cameras showed her laughing on the sidelines once she was back on her feet. However, fans still did not hold back on social media.
"It didn't look like he kicked it that hard," one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"Is she in concussion protocol?" another fan asked.

Cowboys Micah Parsons Gets Honest on Next Season
It has been another season of ups and downs for the Dallas Cowboys. And unfortunately for Dallas, the downs have been plentiful. After a pedestrian start to the season, things went from bad to worse for the Cowboys after they lost their starting quarterback Dak Prescott for the season after suffering a hamstring injury.
The jury is still out on what the Cowboys' fate will ultimately be this offseason. But earlier this season, before they had been eliminated fom the playoffs, Cowboys' star pass rusher Micah Parsons said that he wanted to run it back with the same team next season.
"I think I would like a fair shot with everyone back — players, coaches — because the injuries kind of struck of what this season could really be," Parsons said.
"The injuries have been terrible. And, you know, it really sucks. Seeing Zack [Martin], D-Law [DeMarcus Lawrence] not having the year I know he planned to have. He had such a great start. It really sucks."
