NFL insider Adam Schefter reported Monday night what the current Colorado head football coach disclosed about his meeting with Jerry Jones.
"To hear from Jerry Jones is truly delightful, and it's intriguing," Sanders said. "I love Jerry and believe in Jerry. After you hang up, and process it, and think about it, it's intriguing."

That is, Coach Prime also noted how he has built something in Colorado as he revitalized the football program, from a 1-11 record when he took over, to becoming a 9-4 top 25 ranked team this past season.
"But I love Boulder and everything there is about our team, the coaches, our student body and the community."

Nevertheless, it's hard to imagine that the 57-year-old football legend wouldn't consider a return to the NFL. Undoubtedly, now that coach Mike McCarthy has been fired, Primetime coming back to Dallas presumably would be well received by all, as fans and even former players have spoken on their wishes of seeing this happen.
I hope @DeionSanders get the cowboys coaching Job!

With Deion's son, quarterback Shedeur Sanders, set to enter the 2025 NFL Draft, projected as one of the top picks, certainly it would be a storybook unfolding of events if both went from Boulder to Dallas together.

All in all, if there is one coach that will be able to handle all the extra hoopla that comes with being a part of 'America's Team', it's Primetime.

Sanders suited up for the Cowboys from 1995-1999 and played a key role in their Super Bowl XXX victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers (27-17 win; January 27, 1996).
Now nearly three decades later, Primetime may once again try to lead the Cowboys to a championship, if given the chance.
