According to a Jan. 17 announcement, Dead On Tools will move to AM Racing to support Burton in 10 races. The tool company will continue to have a presence in the second-tier NASCAR series, starting with the season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway.

The Dead On Tools schedule also includes Las Vegas on March 15, Martinsville on March 29, Texas on May 3, Charlotte on May 24, Chicago on July 5, Gateway on Sept. 6, Las Vegas on Oct. 11, Martinsville on Oct. 25, and Phoenix on Nov. 1.

"I am stoked about this partnership with Dead On Tools this season," Burton said in a press release."Everyone has worked extremely hard this offseason to prepare for this year's NASCAR Xfinity Series season.

"With their support, we believe we have all the tools we need — both on and off the track — to succeed. Their commitment to excellence matches the passion and determination of our team, and we're ready to make this a season to remember."

As part of the announcement, AM Racing revealed that it will move to a different car number in 2025. Instead of fielding the No. 15 as it did last season, the Xfinity Series team will compete in all 33 races with the No. 25.

This number change takes AM Racing back to its first season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (2023). The longtime Craftsman Truck Series team expanded its schedule and began competing full-time in the second-tier series with Brett Moffitt driving the No. 25 Ford Mustang.

Moffitt, a former Truck Series champion, posted an average finish of 17.9 in AM Racing's first full season. He posted nine top-10 finishes and one top-five. His best finish was fourth on the streets of Chicago.

AM Racing brought in Hailie Deegan to be the primary driver for the 2024 season while changing the car to the No. 15. Deegan and AM Racing parted ways midway through the season, so the Xfinity team turned to multiple guest drivers to close out the schedule.
