Fans Irate With 'Rigged' NFL During Chiefs, Texans Divisional Matchup

On Saturday the Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs met up for a showdown in the AFC Divisional round. And with a trip to championship Sunday on the line, fans were excited to see what was in store in this bout between two AFC heavyweights.

Fans Livid During Chiefs, Texans Playoff Game

 

The Chiefs were favored coming into this matchup. But still fans were quick to point out the discrepancy between how the referees were calling the game between the Texans and Chiefs. Several calls seemed to be called in the Chiefs favor, which led to the getting the early advantage over Houston in the first half.

 

Several fans were livid and expressed their frustrations on social media.

 

"You're not gonna see a more clear "hip drop tackle" but of course no flag because it's the Kansas City Chiefs," one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

 

"We didn't even get through the first quarter and the reff ALREADY F*****G SAVING THE CHIEFS," another fan added.

 

Kelce Explains Why He Nixed Role in Netflix Series

 

The past two years have been quite the high rise for Travis Kelce. At the beginning of last year's NFL Season, he went public with his pop star girlfriend Taylor Swift and he capped off the season by winning his third Super Bowl title with the Kansas City Chiefs. So his level of celebrity has flown off the charts.

 

The Chiefs star recently revealed that turned down the opportunity to be featured on an upcoming Netflix reality series entitled Receiver.

 

The show follows the best receivers in the National Football League and their preparation for Sundays throughout the season. Chiefs quarterback

 

Patrick Mahomes was featured in a similar series called Quarterback.

Kelce says he was approached, however, he ultimately decided to pass on the opportunity.

 

"After Pat [Mahomes] did it, I did get asked about it. I don't know. I'd rather just play ball, man. I'm already doing enough with the podcast and everything," Kelce said of being approached to do the show," Kelce said.

 

"I'm way over the reality s—-. I'm out on that s—-."
