This race will take place on the existing track where Modified drivers regularly compete. However, some changes will be noticeable after NASCAR added SAFER barriers, updated lighting, and catch fences.
Several active Cup Series drivers have won the Clash over the years. Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin both won the exhibition race when it took place at the LA Memorial Coliseum. Kyle Busch won the Clash on the Daytona Road Course.
Erik Jones, Brad Keselowski, Logano, Hamlin, and Busch all won the Clash when it took place on the Daytona oval.
