The city of Philadelphia certainly was filled with jubilation after the Eagles defeated the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship game, however, that excitement led to uncontrolled chaos.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene but stopped later on the side of the road. Notably, the SUV was noticed by police as the front was damaged and blood was found on the hood.
The one behind the wheel has been identified as Rebekah DeShields, she was taken into custody and arrested, now facing multiple charges, such as: aggravated assault, driving without a license, simple assault, and reckless driving (per TMZ).
DeShields claims that there were people attempting to remove the license plate from the back of her car, so that was the reason for unintentionally hitting some innocent bystanders when trying to get away.
The Philadelphia Police Department released a statement on X:
"Auto Vs. Pedestrians crash at Broad and Spring Garden - driver of vehicle is in custody. Does not appear intentional at this time. Please avoid the [area]."
In view of why the Eagles fans were celebrating, after their 55-23 NFC Championship defeat of the Commanders, Saquon Barkley and the team will now face the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX on February 9.
If Philly wins Super Bowl 59, hopefully there will be more precautions in place to prevent any injuries during the celebrations.
