Eagles Fans Harass Commanders Fans After NFC Championship
The Eagles were able to ground a red-hot Washington Commanders squad 55-23 en route to the Super Bowl. But the victory wasn't enough for one group of Philadelphia fans. They also felt the need to add insult to injury.
One fan-captured video showed a mob of Eagles fans harassing a couple of Commanders fans who made the trip to Lincoln Financial Field to support their team. In the video, some of the fans can be seen getting in the fan's faces with one person even snatching the hat off of one of the Commanders' fans' heads.
Check out the video below:
I know Philly fans are scumbsgs but this is beyond being a scumbag. Total asshole move to actually grab the dudes hat as he’s walking out. pic.twitter.com/lLSO4YloCW

People on social media were quick to shame the fans for their behavior.
"Philly fans are the worst," one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"Like school in the summertime... no class," another person added.
Saquon Takes Shot at Giants in 2024 Interview
Eagles ended the season sitting atop the NFC East. That is largely thanks to their free agent acquisition, Saquon Barkley. After nearly breaking Eric Dickerson's single-seasonson rushing record, Barkley looks to have found the fountain of youth.
In an interview earlier this season, Barkley suggested that the new spring in his step has been due to him having a sense of security by way of his new contract with the Philadelphia Eagles. Seemingly a shot at his former team, the New York Giants, who let him walk in free agency last offseason.
"It was like, I got the guaranteed money that I want, I got the contract that I want. For the last three or four years, I've been on a one-year deal. I can go back to playing ball," Barkley said. "Yeah, I'm jumping over people again because I got money. I have security, I have financial security.
The Eagles started the season off rather pedestrian. They started the year with a 2-2 record through four games. But as the season has waned on, Nick Sirianni and the Eagles have adjusted to the times, and they now look poised for another Super Bowl title.
