As many know, ahead of the February 6 trade deadline, the 27-year-old budding superstar was dealt to the San Antonio Spurs, with Zach Lavine joining the Kings in a three-team trade.

That is, now a couple weeks later, Fox has evidently decided that he did not want to follow his previous co-star Domantas Sabonis on Instagram anymore.

In an exchange with a fan in the IG comments section, Fox was asked, "Why u unfollow Sabonis?"

De'Aaron Fox: "Don't care to see it. Why's that your problem?"

Fan: "That's yo boy tho!? "

Fox: "We were teammates... it's ok not to be close to everybody."

In view of Fox leaving Sacramento, it appears the writing was on the wall as ever since head coach Mike Brown was fired, the one-time All Star was vocal about requesting a trade.

After being selected with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, Fox averaged 21.5 points (47.1% FG; 33.3% 3P), to go with 6.1 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.4 steals during his tenure with the Kings.

To note, the Spurs and Kings will face-off on March 7, when De'Aaron Fox returns to Sac Town for a game vs. Domantas Sabonis and the rest of his old teammates.
