That is, what seemed harmless at first quickly took a weird turn, as one of the women turned around and put the phone at an interesting angle, which seemingly appeared to be capturing a picture of her backside.

A fan watching the game posted a live reaction to witnessing the viral moment

"NO WAY SHE JUST GOT CAUGHT TAKING [AN] A** PIC ON TV."

The video was then posted on social media (via @Bpquigs), who captioned it, "The greatest moment in ESPN Plus history."

This led to much reactions from fans online, as one user said on X: "ESPN has found a way to boost ratings."

While another fan pointed out the fact that these kind of videos unfortunately don't go away, "Poor girl gonna be embarrassed for very long."

In view of the game, ECU's ace Ethan Norby had an astounding 19 strikeouts, and third baseman Colby Wallace hit two home runs (6 RBI's), leading the Pirates to a 7-0 victory over No. 24 ranked Coastal Carolina.
