President Donald Trump Calls Out ‘Stupid’ NFL Owners After Shedeur Sanders’ Historic Draft Slide

Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, who was once projected to be a top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, has now went undrafted through the first three rounds.

Many are considering this the most shocking draft slide in recent memory, and among those who are outraged is the President of the United States.

"What is wrong with NFL owners, are they STUPID?" Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social ahead of the second round of the 2025 Draft. "Deion Sanders was a great college football player, and was even greater in the NFL. He's also a very good coach, streetwise and smart! Therefore, Shedeur, his quarterback son, has PHENOMENAL GENES, and is all set for Greatness. He should be 'picked' IMMEDIATELY by a team that wants to WIN. Good luck Shedeur, and say hello to your wonderful father!"

And to make it even more appalling, Sanders somehow wasn't taken on Day 2 either.

With this in mind, many fans have clowned the teams that have drafted QB's over Shedeur, who holds the all-time FBS record for career completion percentage (71.8%).

That is, there were four quarterbacks taken after the Tennessee Titans selected No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward: No. 25 Jaxson Dart (New York Giants), No. 40 Tyler Shough (New Orleans Saints), No. 92 Jalen Milroe (Seattle Seahawks), and No. 94 Dillon Gabriel (Cleveland Browns).

Others including Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless also expressed their disbelief, noting that this indeed may be a "blackball" situation.

With all that being said, Shedeur has seemingly kept a positive attitude.

Needless to say, any team that selects Sanders will be getting a steal at this point in the draft, as he has been seen as the "top player available" for more than two rounds now (according to ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr.).

With 102 players already picked ahead of him, the 23-year-old son of HOF'er Deion "Primetime" Sanders will undoubtedly be playing with a chip on his shoulder coming into the league.
