On Friday's episode of First Take, co-hosts Molly Qerim and Stephen A. Smith had a heated back-and-forth exchange. As Smith was talking about the future of the Phoenix Suns, ESPN cameras panned over to his laptop, which appeared to have some emails appearing on the screen.

Molly not-so-subtly tried to warn Smith, "Just close it. Trust me. Close everything. Put it down... they're zooming in on it, can see your text messages and everything... it's all on TV, I'm looking out for you."
Smith thought she was referring to his phone, "I can't, Molly. It's on vibrate. Relax."
This on-air debacle was a surprise to the other two co-hosts, as the viewers thought they were watching some sort of "Saturday Night Live" skit.
Many fans believe Molly made a big deal about nothing, as one user on X wrote, "She thinks she is Stephen A's boss."
Others were confused as to why the cameramen showed the laptop in the first place.
Why is the camera crew shooting such an angle (behind Stephen A.)?
Don't they have a director of the show...seems odd?

In a barely audible voice, Smith was heard saying, "They should know better to have my d*** [laptop] on camera."
All in all, this is just one of many bloopers over the years, as last year Stephen A. exposed Molly for her own laptop browsing on First Take.
