When the Las Vegas Raiders visit the New England Patriots in Week 1, it'll be a meeting between two NFL franchises forever tied to Tom Brady's career. But Brady himself? He'll be a few hundred miles away, with a headset on.

Instead of soaking in the September 7 showdown in Foxborough, Brady will be in the broadcast booth for Fox Sports, teaming with Kevin Burkhardt to call the New York Giants-Washington Commanders game at Northwest Stadium. Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi will handle sideline duties.
It's part of Fox's plan to feature their top crew on back-to-back marquee matchups to open the season. In Week 2, Brady, Burkhardt, Andrews, and Rinaldi will head to Kansas City for a Super Bowl rematch between the Eagles and Chiefs.
The network also revealed its other Week 1 broadcast assignments:
-
Joe Davis, Greg Olsen, Pam Oliver — 49ers at Seahawks
-
Kenny Albert, Jonathan Vilma, Megan Olivi — Buccaneers at Falcons
-
Kevin Kugler, Moose Johnston, Allison Williams — Bengals at Browns
-
Chris Myers, Mark Schlereth, Jen Hale — Panthers at Jaguars
-
Adam Amin, Mark Sanchez, Kristina Pink — Titans at Broncos
Mike Pereira and Dean Blandino will again serve as Fox's rules analysts this season.
Brady led the Patriots to six Super Bowl victories (2002, 2004, 2005, 205, 2017 and 2019), followed by a seventh with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021. Along with his broadcast duties, he's part-owner of the Raiders — an arrangement that neither the league nor Fox Sports has an issue with.
