How to watch Xfinity Series regular-season finale: TV info, weather

The NASCAR Xfinity Series will close out the regular season on Saturday night at World Wide Technology Raceway.

This event will finalize the playoff field. Nine drivers have secure spots in the playoffs, so only three spots remain entering the regular-season finale.

This race marks the first time since 2010 that the Xfinity teams will compete at the 1.25-mile track outside of St. Louis. Carl Edwards and Brad Keselowski split the Xfinity races at WWT Raceway in 2010.

Weather: The WeatherUnderground forecast calls for mostly sunny skies throughout the day. A high of 73 degrees and no chance of rain at the start of the race.

Green flag time: The command to fire engines will be at 7:30 p.m. ET. The green flag will wave at 7:40 p.m. ET.

Pre-race: The Xfinity Series garage opens at 10 a.m. ET. Driver introductions will take place at 7 p.m. ET. Pre-race coverage begins with "NASCAR Countdown Live" on CW at 7 p.m. ET. Race coverage continues on CW at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The invocation will take place at 7:22 p.m. ET. The performance of the national anthem will be at 7:23 p.m. ET.

Stages: The race will consist of three stages. The first stage ends at Lap 35. The second stage ends at Lap 70. The scheduled end of the race is Lap 160.

Playoff picture: Eight drivers have locked up spots in the playoffs by winning at least one race. Connor Zilisch leads the series with eight wins. He also leads the series with 43 playoff points.

Three-race winner Justin Allgaier is 20 points back of Zilisch and still in contention for the regular-season championship.

Austin Hill also has three wins but no playoff points after serving a one-race suspension for wrecking Aric Almirola.

The one-race winners this season are Brandon Jones, Sam Mayer, Nick Sanchez, Jesse Love, and Sammy Smith. Carson Kvapil has a secure spot on points.

Harrison Burton is the last driver in the playoff field on points. He has a 31-point lead over cousin Jeb Burton. Sheldon Creed (+65) and Taylor Gray (+60) are the safest of the drivers without an Xfinity Series win.

Past winners: No drivers in the lineup have an Xfinity win at WWT Raceway. Allgaier, Matt DiBenedetto, and Jeremy Clements are the only drivers with an Xfinity start at the 1.25-mile track.
